Zinc flake coating of surfaces
We use the following base coats for surface coating
DELTA-PROTEKT® KL100, DELTA-PROTEKT® KL120 and DELTA®_TONE 9000 are micro-layer-forming inorganic base coatings consisting of zinc and aluminum flake particles. The thermal-chemical conversion process produces a shiny silver metallic coating on the component with very high corrosion protection.
The base coats we use
have several protective mechanisms
- Cathodic protection effect
- Barrier effect through plate-shaped zinc and aluminum
- Reaction of the binder system with the substrate
- Cementation of the layer under corrosion stress
The surfaces
ARE CONDUCTIVE AND OPTIMALLY PROTECTED AGAINST CORROSION
Coatings with DELTA-PROTEKT® KL100 or KL120 and DELTA®_TONE 9000 are electrically conductive and offer high corrosion protection. They are temperature-stable up to 150/180°C (temporarily even higher), environmentally friendly and free of heavy metals.
Our coatings meet the European and American specifications of all automobile manufacturers and many other industries. Further information can also be found on the external website of the coating supplier Dörken.
