Surface coating
Our zinc flake coating process is an interesting surface coating and corrosion protection alternative to hot-dip galvanizing and electrogalvanizing for many metal parts, especially for stampings and shaped components.
At our Surface Treatment plant “Oberflächentechnik Sigmund SCHERDEL Marktredwitz” (OFTM), we see ourselves as a problem solver and specialist for the demanding corrosion protection of metal parts, especially stampings and shaped components of all kinds, from bulk material through dip-spin material to material in baskets and on racks.

We rely on the zinc flake technology for good reasons. According to the application, it may be combined with a comprehensive surface pretreatment and, optionally, subsequent surface sealing. In fact our zinc flake coating process in large-scale systems developed in-house offers decisive advantages for bulk materials such as M3 screws as well as for large parts up to 1.1 m in length …
